Liz's goat milk formula
A little history....my 6th baby born almost 2 years ago was a very strange little newborn because she had no desire to nurse. None. Nada. ewwww gross. After I got over my heartbreak and realized that pumping my breast milk wasn't going to last long, I had to find a healthy formula for my precious baby. I searched and searched but could not find anything. All the formulas included soy, sugar and cow milk which are all horrible for a newborn! So, I investigated and came up with this concoction. It's definately not cheap but it was worth it to me!
For babies who are able to digest a green drink (probably over 9 months old...you'll have to figure that one out), with a sharp pair of scissors, clip a small "X" shape in the top of the baby bottle nipple. Pour the green drink in and you're baby will love it! It's good to start your baby when they're young and impressionable:)

- 1 1/2 scoops powdered Meyenberg Goat Milk
- 1/2 tsp. Nature's Way Reuteri Primadophilus powder (most closely resembles probiotics found in breast milk)
- 1/2 tsp Mt. Capra Goat Milk Whey powder for minerals
- 1 big squirt of Barleans complete omega oils that includes fish, flax and borage oils. I have flax oil shown here.
- 1/4 cup Yount Thai Coconut water (Not shown. Not required but great for sick babies because of it's laxative and replenishing qualities)
